Everything You Need to Know

ARE THE CAT HOMES HEATED?

Yes! Each cat house has its own personal heater. Even when it's chilly outside our guest are toasty and warm.

WHAT ABOUT SECURITY?

All of our buildings are secure and alarmed. We also have comprehensive CCTV.

CAN I VISIT BEFORE MY BOOKING?

We encourage it. You need to be comfortable your cat's holiday stay is right for them. All we ask is you book your tour so we can ensure we have staff available to show you round.

IS THIS WOODSIDE KENNELS & CATTERY?

Yes! Fareham Cattery is part of Woodside Kennels and Cattery. Same company, same staff, same location, so why? The clue is in the name - Woodside Kennels as a website was very dog focussed and we wanted to make sure our feline friends got the same attention.

IS THIS THE SAME AS WOODSIDE CATTERY?

Yes! We're just trying to figure out branding to bring our feline friends into focus. Feel free to pop on over to Woodside Cattery if the brand feels more familiar; if you're looking for cattery in Titchfield or Fareham its here!

I'VE SUBMITTED MY BOOKING REQUEST, IS IT CONFIRMED?

Please don't consider the booking confirmed until you've received an official confirmation from us. The booking system currently runs along side our paper system and we need to make sure the two match before confirming your booking. What would your cat think if their room was double booked!

WHAT ABOUT MEDICINE?

We are happy to administer medicine at no extra cost providing full details are checked with us beforehand and written instructions are provided to us. Medication must be in the original packaging and your instructions must be the same as that on the packaging. We cannot guarantee that medication will be administered at set times.

ARE VET BILLS INCLUDED?

Vet bills are not included. Whilst every care is taken with your pets health and safety, they are boarded entirely at their owner's risk. Should any veterinary advice or treatment be deemed necessary by Woodside staff during their stay, the owners will be entirely responsible for the veterinary bill in addition to the boarding fee. Veterinary service can be expensive; we highly recommend insurance.

ARE THE CAT HOMES LICENSED BY THE LOCAL AUTHORITY?

Yes, Woodside Kennels and Cattery has a 5 Star Rating and are inspected, approved and licensed by Fareham/Gosport Borough Council.

ARE THE CAT HOUSES HEATED?

Yes Your cat's house will be cozy warm adjusted for the time of year.

WILL MY CAT GET LOTS OF ATTENTION WHEN BOARDING WITH YOU?

Cat's can be quite particular about what they do and don't want and we're sensitive to that, but if it's attention they strive, there's plenty of cuddles and strokes.

DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE FOOD?

Yes, for our cat boarders we have Royal Canin Sensible dry biscuits and most supermarket tinned/sachet wet food.
If your pet is on a special diet you will need to bring food with you.
